The 2020 Knights of Columbus Golf Tournament is Friday, September 4th. 

 

NOTE: REGISTRATION FOR THE GOLF TOURNAMENT WILL CLOSE AT 6 PM ON SUNDAY AUGUST 16TH!  HURRY AND REGISTER FOR THIS GREAT EVENT!

2020 S.O.S. Shotgun Shootout

Q: What is the date?

A: Friday, June 5, 2015

 

Q: What is the time schedule?

A: 12:00PM-1:00PM Check in and safety review

     1:00PM-3:00PM   Shootout

     3:00PM-3:30PM   Team Flurry Shoot

     3:30PM-4:00PM   Awards and refreshments

 

Q: Where will the shoot be held?

A: Colorado Clays Shooting Park

     13600 Lanewood St.

     Brighton CO 80603

 

Q: What kind of shotgun and shells can I use?

A: Any gauge shotgun with shot size of 7 1/2.

     Each shooter must provide their own shotgun and shells.

 

Q: How many shells do I need to bring?

A: 5 boxes or 125 rounds.

 

Q: How about skill level, experience or age?

A: All skill levels welcome. No experience necessary. Minimum age for shooters is 12.

 

Q: What does the course involve?

A: Each shooter will fire 100 rounds at 10 stations. Each shooter is individually scored    

     and the team score is the sum of the 5 member’s scores.

 

Q: What is the cost?

A: Individual shooter $125.00   5 person team registration $100.00 for each shooter.

 

Q: Any additional costs?

A: At registration each shooter will be allowed to purchase Mulligans at $5 each (Max 4)

 

Q: What about sponsorship?

A: Station sponsorships are available for $200.00 or $100.00 when purchased in

     conjunction with a team registration. Each sponsorship will be recognized with a

     24 x 24 sign at a station and a listing on the parkerknights.org website for a year.

 

Q: What are the prizes?

A: Trophies will be awarded to the top 3 teams and the top 3 male shooters and top

     3 female shooters. A championship trophy will be awarded for the best team score

     in the flurry competition.

Q: What is the flurry?

A: At the end of the regular competition each team will be afforded the chance to

     participate in the flurry. Each 5 member team will be positioned on the line and

     at the ready will have 50 targets thrown at 1 second intervals. The team with the

     highest number of hits will be crowned the champion. The cost to participate in

     the flurry is $100.00 per team.

 

Q: I don’t know how to shoot.

A: Any shooter not familiar with shotguns or sporting clays or who has not picked up

     a shotgun in years, we have a solution. As part of your registration fee you will be

     offered a free one hour instruction or refresher by Course Instructor Warren Watson.

     The only restriction for this hour is that it must be scheduled and completed by no

     later than Saturday, May 30, 2015. Call Warren at 720-284-4799 to schedule your time.

 

Q: How do I register?

A: You can register for the event by:

1)    Request a packet at the church office.

2)    Register by mail from bulletin insert.

3)    Get the registration form here.  Fill out the form and mail it in with your payment.

4)    Register and pay online here.

 

Q: What will this charity event benefit?

A: All funds will be put toward, the Shelter our Shepherds capital campaign.

Lent is here and FISH FRY FRIDAYS ARE BACK! Please help support the 2020 Fish fry's by helping serve, spreading the word, or just simply bringing your family and friends for a great fish fry among friends.

 

8:30 AM to 10:00 AM cut fish preparation Brownstein Hall

11:00 AM to 12:00 noon Brownstein dining Hall setup

3:30 PM to 6:50 PM serve meals

7:00 PM cleanup

 

FRIDAYS IN LENT: Starting February 28th through April 3rd
